The Ocean Sunfish, Mola mola, or common mola, is the heaviest known bony fish in the world, Individuals weighing up to 2,300 kg (5,100 lb) have been observed. Surprisingly, its closest living relative is the modestly sized puffer fish.
Swimming in the open ocean with a Giant Sunfish is considered one of the greatest animal encounters that can be experienced.

This single sided mola mola pendant is made from 9ct gold that has been given a high-carat gold coating. It measures 3.3cm, or around one and a quarter inches, from fin tip to fin tip, and has a natural diamond set in its eye. This piece will be stamped with a British Hallmark to prove it is made of gold and will be supplied in its own gift box with an attractive cord to hang it from.
