In addition to his work as a Jewellery Designer Adrian has enjoyed some recognition as a sculptor.

Adrian works on a ‘desk top’ scale primarily in the precious metals and gemstones that reflect his training as a Goldsmith. Adrian’s sculptures are either literal studies of living creatures or biomorphic forms that, while abstract nevertheless refer to, or evoke, living forms such as plants or simple animals.

The pieces Adrian makes can be removed from the plinths they are supplied on so that the implausible weight of the precious metal and tactile qualities of the sculpture’s lines can be explored to help relieve stress or inspire positive thought.

Almost all sculptures are robust enough to be carried around in a bag or pocket and many can be worn as elaborate pieces of contemporary jewellery.
