An increasing proportion of Adrian’s work involves modernising older pieces of jewellery. Sometimes this simply means updating a piece of estate jewellery as it passes from one generation to the next, although more often he is asked to redesign broken or impractically delicate pieces to make them more suitable for every day wear.

With this in mind Adrian has developed an attractive yet robust style of jewellery design that is suitable for the ‘Outdoor’ lifestyle enjoyed by many people living in the country or on the coast.

In addition to reworking older pieces Adrian is happy to create hardwearing jewellery using gemstones people have acquired while travelling or stones he can supply himself.

In fact, due to the Arundel workshop’s very low running costs Adrian is able to supply high quality precious stones, particularly certificated diamonds, at far lower prices than you would expect to pay in a high street jewellers.
